Moravia

We were inspired to make our Moravia carafe by two things… wine and Charles Baudelaire! “I think I will drink a Bohemian wine, bitter and victorious, a liquid sky that sprinkles my heart with stars!”. Most of the Czech vineyards are located in the region of Moravia. Just next door, the Bohemia region of the Czech Republic is famous for its quality and craftsmanship of glass blowing. The band details on this carafe recall the ornate Czech glass-blowing style. These unique and ornate bands that wrap vertically up the vase make it quite a statement piece. They are applied by hand while the glass is molten hot and will vary on each piece making each one unique! You will love this carafe for your wine or to hold your flowers as a vase. The Moravia is mouth-blown from recycled glass by our master artisan glassblowers.
